The dust storm, with winds blowing up to 60 miles per hour, swept parts of Uttar Pradesh state on Wednesday night, demolishing homes and downing power lines. According to the information department, there were reports of 37 cattle deaths and seven house collapse in nine affected districts, mostly in western Uttar Pradesh. The injured were rushed to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital. "The sub-division magistrate and the circle officer have gone to the village to get more details of his death", said Hathras superintendent of police Sushil Ghule.
