The smartphone is likely to accompany Mi A2 at the July 24 event in Spain. Now, the AliExpress listing suggests that the Mi A2 Lite could be cheaper than expected. Prior to the launch, the key specifications of the Mi Max3 has been revealed. It also comes a day after Xiaomi confirmed that the successor to the Mi A1 is indeed in the works. The device is reported to feature a 5.99-inch full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Being an Android One device, you can expect both Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite to come with a clean stock experience and it will enjoy two years of software updates and security patches.
Based on the latest teaser, Xiaomi will also announce the Mi A2 Lite. The upcoming Mi A2 is speculated to be the global variant of Mi 6X which was launched in China recently. And we will also learn whether the rumored Mi Max 3 Pro model is real.

In terms of performance, the Mi A2 is expected to be powered by the octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It looks similar to the Mi A2 at the back but at the front it has a notch, giving it a different look. While in the photographic component, there will be a dual main chamber, with sensors of 12 and 5 MP, and a secondary chamber of 5 MP. Not only that, Xiaomi has also released an official promotion poster online showcasing the nearly bezel-less display with no notch (yes!) and it looks pretty great.
GizomoChina reports that a photo purporting to be of the device's "About" screen shows it will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 - the same chipset that powers Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro - a clear step below the Snapdragon 845 found in the flagship Mi 8 series.
