The Seattle Seahawks lost 24-17 to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, falling to 0-2 on the season. On the ensuing drive, with the game already likely out of reach, Wilson held on to the ball a split-second too long and the Bears made him pay by forcing a fumble and recovering. Trubisky played arguably his best football in the first quarter, when he thoroughly outplayed Seattle's Russell Wilson, posting a quarterback rating of 131.0. Prince Amukamara essentially ended the game when he intercepted Wilson and ran it back 49 yards with 6:37 left in the game to make it 24-10 and deflate the Hawks for good. With a first time head coach and a quarterback with under 16 starts under his belt in a new offense this should be expected.
Danny Trevathan then stripped Wilson with his second sack of the game.
The Bears (1-1) bounced back after blowing a 20-point lead in a loss to a gimpy Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers mainly because their defense dominated in a big way. What he said was, 'I could have fixed it, and we didn't need to call a timeout, ' but we needed to fix it. So that just adds up to him and it's hard, it makes it hard on him.
"We're still a work in progress, " coach Pete Carroll said. He was sacked six times.
One of Trubisky's best throws of the night was on his second TD pass, early in the fourth quarter.
"The fourth quarter showed us who we are and who we can be". He was on special teams a couple plays but I thought that's what happened and I just misread him on the sidelines a little bit and didn't clearly understand. I make mistakes, you know. And if we can do that - which, I don't think we're far off by any means - I think the margin of error is really, really small.

Chicago's Mitchell Trubisky was 25 of 34 for 200 yards.
A day after Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes - an understudy to Nagy in Kansas City a year ago and a fellow first-round pick with Trubisky in the 2017 draft - threw six touchdown passes to reach 10 for the season two weeks in, Trubisky was further put under the microscope for his performances through 14 career starts.
The 24-year-old quarterback tossed a pair of interceptions, failed to connect on deep balls with several open receivers and - at times - seemed a little too eager to bolt from the pocket. It was great to see Matt Nagy get his first career victory and there were plenty of positives, but the Bears still need to improve before they are truly contenders. His attitude was great, and he didn't worry about anything. He didn't worry about anything. Both were excellent against the Bears.
Seahawks defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson and offensive tackle Duane Brown stayed off the field during the national anthem, something they did in the opener and preseason. Dickson, dropping the ball onto the turf before kicking it on the bounce, landed the ball on the 1-yard line in the arms of Anthony Miller, who could return it only 14 yards - putting the Bears 10 yards behind where they would have been with a touchback.
Desperate because of injuries, the Seahawks Friday had to let go well-regarded veteran DT Tom Johnson, but hoped to re-sign him out of free agency perhaps as soon as this week, once regular players returned to active duty and temp help could be jettisoned.
