The hero went to the battlefield that is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and he almost lost out when a villain got him with a hook.
Giant character balloons, including Charlie Brown, are being inflated the night before their appearance in the 92nd Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, Wednesday Nov. 21, 2018, in NY. "It's so cold in NY", she said, giving her former Voice mentee a shout-out.
Police say they're ready to order the 16 helium-filled balloons to a lower altitude or ground them entirely if it is too windy. The NYPD will be monitoring the wind speed to determine if they need to pull the plug on the large balloons.
Bystanders refused to let cold temperatures put a damper on watching the parade, breaking out the blankets and sleeping bags to watch the giant balloons go by.

"When a group of eccentric Broadway actors hear her story, they travel to the community in an earnest-if possibly misguided-attempt to correct the injustice".

"It's one of the coldest", he said, but "we've watched in the rain before". In 2014, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade featured a same-sex wedding on one of its floats. Diana Ross, John Legend, Martina McBride and the Muppets from "Sesame Street" were scheduled to perform, and the city of NY, concerned about frostbite, issued an advisory to spectators to ensure they were adequately dressed for the brutal weather. Rita, who took TONS of heat for how much her lips didn't match her lyrics responded, "Fun fact @johnlegend thank you for clarifying what I was about to also tweet".
The kiss came during a performance from the Broadway musical "The Prom". The producers told Entertainment Weekly it was the parade's "first LGBTQ kiss".
Amid the big balloons and floats during Thursday's famous New York City parade, actresses Caitlin Kinnunen and Isabelle McCalla kissed on a live NBC broadcast during a performance of the new Broadway musical "The Prom".
There's also a chance NY could see a record low temperature on Thanksgiving Day: Accuweather is predicting a morning low temperature of 21 degrees and an afternoon high of 27.
