The actor, who directed and starred in the film which has been nominated for eight Academy Awards, sang the first half of the song while Gaga knelt at his feet.

She's also used her "Enigma" show as a platform to discuss current events and issues.

While performing at her Sin City residence ENIGMA on January 26, Lady Gaga surprised her audience when Bradley Cooper took to the stage and helped her belt out a passionate duet of their award-winning song "Shallow".

Throughout last night's performance during her "Enigma" Las Vegas residency, the singer chose multiple unique looks, including a head-to-toe embellished ensemble. "I'd never heard her sing live before", he told Yahoo Lifestyle of the moment he knew Lady Gaga had to be part of his film.

United States government shutdown ends for now
Not many politicians have gone up against Trump and emerged victorious, with their dignity intact. Trump on Friday signed a bill that ended the partial government shutdown for three weeks.

"To have a voice like that in a song that you write is a dream come true", said songwriter Natalie Hemby, one of the song's co-writers.

After their performance, Gaga's backup dancers took their bows, with Cooper joining them.

"Shallow" is slated to be performed at the Oscars in February, Variety recently reported, along with "All the Stars", the Kendrick-Lamar and Sza song from "Black Panther".

"Shallow" has been nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars, after winning the award at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
