Adam Levine 's shirtless Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show performance didn't sit well for the people of Twitter (for a multitude of reasons, but for this article's sake we'll keep it focused on one). On Sunday night, Levine posted photos to Instagram from the performance - where drones spelled out the words "One" and "Love" - and shared his gratitude both for the fans and the haters.
He thanked the universe for the opportunity, his fans, as well as addressed his haters/critics by thanking them for "pushing us to do better".
It appears Spongebob is making the most of being a fave of U.S. sports team across the country with the music video playing on the screens, while fans cheered and danced in their seats. "Forgive, Laugh, Cry, Smile, Share, Live, Endure, Embrace, Remember, Enlighten, Preserve, Inspire, Sweat, Fight, Express, Give, Receive, Elevate, Climb, Unify, Fortify, Soften, Dance, Scream, Dream, Educate, Provide, Inhale, Exhale, Persevere, Stand, Kneel, Overcome, Love, Listen". When Maroon 5 was announced as this year's act, the reaction was tepid - and unfortunately for Adam Levine and co., the internet, an ever cruel and harsh critic, was far from won over by their performance.
"I think we're doing the same thing".
"The decision to have a costume reveal at the end of my halftime show performance was made after final rehearsals..."
The Daily Beast said: "Maroon 5's Super Bowl halftime show was just as mind-numbingly boring as you feared".

She said the legislation would "bring a hammer down and threaten people instead of allowing them to make informed decisions". In Oregon , which has a similar law, 7.5 percent of kindergarteners in 2018 were missing shots for non-medical reasons.
The Super Bowl halftime show always creates an "insatiable urge to hate a little bit", Levine told Entertainment Tonight.
"They're scapegoating me into figuring out the goalposts on what is offensive in America", she said.
"Next Sunday will be the 36th Sunday he has been locked out of your national game", Waters wrote.
It would have been great if at least one of the artists featured in the halftime show would have done at least a short part of "Sweet Victory", but that's not how it turned out.
Waters continued, "Colin Kaepernick is an American hero".
