Donald Trump spoke with Sean Hannity in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Thursday after his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un came to an abrupt end. Trump has tried to remain on speaking terms with Kim, whom he labelled in 2017 as a "madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people".
"We can't be naive about what they did to Otto and about the brutal nature of the regime", Portman said in a Thursday speech on the Senate floor. "So we'll see what happens". U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell harshly condemned North Korea for "barbaric mistreatment" of Warmbier.
